Rose Heart Sweetheart Press Mould

A rose-filled heart pressed in relief. This is a carved mould — a rounded rectangular block with a deep heart-shaped cavity, the kind used to stamp cookies, springerle, butter, soap or clay. Inside the heart, a spray of roses, buds and leaves frames a line of flowing decorative script (a sweetheart greeting), with tiny dotted borders and a small maker's mark near the point. Everything is cut as a smooth intaglio so that whatever you press into it comes out raised. It is lovely for bakers, soap-makers and crafters, or as a Valentine, anniversary or wedding-favour press. Print notes: • For food use, print in a food-safe filament — or better, use the print as a master to cast a food-grade silicone mould. • Orient cavity-up and print fine (0.1mm) so the script and leaf veins stay legible; no supports are needed inside the recess. • Ironing the top surface or a light sand plus a food-safe seal gives cleaner release and crisper imprints. • For CNC, cut the intaglio into close-grained hardwood (pear, maple, beech) with a fine tapered ball-nose for the lettering.
