Description

A luthier's headstock library, lined up and ready to machine. Twelve full electric-guitar necks stand shoulder to shoulder in this set, each capped by a different headstock silhouette: a classic six-in-a-row Strat-style curve, an angular Explorer point, a split Flying-V fork, reverse pointed shred headstocks, a rounded Tele-style paddle, and drooping in-line designs among them. Every neck carries a fretted board with clearly stepped fret slots running down its length, tapering into a heel at the base, and the tuner-post holes are drilled into each head. Rendered in warm timber tone, the collection reads like a wall of prototypes. This is a builder's and hobbyist's resource: use the models as CNC blanks for cutting real maple necks, as fitment references for a body project, or scale them down as display miniatures and shop signage for a guitar room or workshop. CNC / print notes • For real necks, machine from a straight-grained hard maple blank; leave the fret slots to a dedicated saw and use the model as the profile guide. • Cut the headstock face and tuner holes in a second op after flipping, indexing off dowel pins for registration. • As display prints, lay each neck flat on the bed and print at 0.16 mm; the fret detail survives well and needs no supports. • Watch the thin headstock tips on the V and pointed styles — add a brim so they don't lift.
