Description

A heavy bunch of grapes tumbling from a canopy of curling vine leaves. This CNC drop is a vertical composition: broad, deeply lobed vine leaves fan across the top with rolled tendrils spiralling from the corners, then the eye follows a twisting stem down to a dense, rounded cluster of grapes swelling toward the base. The berries are plump and individually modelled, overlapping into a full, ripe bunch. It's a classic drop onlay — made to hang vertically down a cabinet stile, the corner of a wine cabinet, a corbel, a bar front or a fireplace surround. The vine-and-grape motif is a natural fit for kitchens, cellars, dining rooms and anywhere with a wine theme. Cut in a close-grained hardwood, it makes a rich period embellishment. Cut notes • The grapes carry real depth and undercuts; a 4th-axis or careful two-sided setup gives the roundest berries on a CNC. • Use a tapered ball-nose finishing bit to reach between the leaves and the layered fruit. • On a resin or FDM printer, orient it face-up and support only the deepest overhangs beneath the cluster. • Prime, then paint or stain and wax to emphasise the layered depth.
