Rounded Open Cup Vessel

A pared-back rounded vessel with a wide, open mouth. There is no ornament here, and that is the point. The model is a simple hollow cup: a gently barrelled body that tapers toward a softened base and opens to a broad circular rim with a thin, even wall. Seen from above it reads as a clean ring around a deep, shadowed cavity; from the side it is a smooth, curved silhouette. It is a quiet, honest form that lets the material and the print's own surface do the talking. Around the home it earns its keep as a desk pen pot, a kitchen utensil holder, a small planter for a succulent, a catch-all for keys and coins by the door, or a shell around a battery tealight for soft ambient light. The uncluttered shape suits minimalist, Scandinavian and Japandi interiors. Print notes • Ideal for vase / spiral (single-wall) mode: fast, seamless and lightly translucent, glowing nicely over a tealight. • Print without supports — the open mouth and gentle taper need none. • If it will hold soil or water, disable vase mode, use three or more perimeters and a solid multi-layer base for a watertight wall. • Scale freely: shrink it for an egg cup or ring dish, or enlarge for a plant pot or utensil crock. A textured or matte filament flatters the plain form.
