Description

Pocket-change satire blown up into carveable relief. This roundel reworks the face of a Russian one-rouble coin into a knowing joke: a big serifed numeral 1 stands proud on the left, the Cyrillic word *Пряник* — "pryanik", meaning gingerbread — runs across the bottom, and a loose, heraldic double-headed eagle sprawls across the right of the disc. The whole thing is modelled as a shallow domed coin, its rim left slightly worn and irregular so it reads like struck metal rather than a flat logo. It makes a fun conversation-piece plaque, a fridge magnet, a novelty "giant coin" prop or a cheeky gift for anyone who collects currency or enjoys a visual pun. Carve it small as a token or scale it up to a wall medallion. Print notes • Flat on the bed is the easy route — the relief lives on one face, so no supports are needed for FDM or a V-bit CNC pass. • Keep a fine stepover / 0.12mm layers; the eagle's thin scrolls and the coin lettering are the details that sell it. • On wood, a light gold or bronze rub-and-buff over a dark base gives an instant aged-coin look; on resin, a metallic drybrush does the same. • The model is single-sided — mirror it or add a back plate if you want a two-faced coin.
