Description

A weathered wartime respirator, staring out through two blank glass eyes. This is a fully modelled vintage-style gas mask: a domed rubber-look faceplate with a raised forehead tab, two large round eye lenses, a ridged central brow, and a triple-vane filter port at the chin, flanked by a pair of screw-threaded side canisters. Every form is smooth and industrial, sculpted for dramatic light and shadow — the kind of piece that reads instantly as post-apocalyptic, steampunk, or trench-era militaria. It earns its place as a display bust, a wearable cosplay mask, a shelf ornament for a survival- or horror-themed room, or a brooding desk curio that starts conversations. Print notes • Resin captures the lens rims and filter threads crisply; FDM handles it well at larger scale with 0.2mm layers. • Orient the face upward and add supports under the chin filter and the side canister overhangs. • Hollow the shell with a couple of drain holes if resin-printing to save material. • Prime, then dry-brush metallics over a matte base coat for a convincing worn-rubber finish.
