Beware Angry Housewife Warning Plaque

A warning sign with a wink — and a very unimpressed lady of the house. This CNC relief plaque carries a raised pictogram straight out of the "beware of" family, but the joke is all its own: a stick-figure woman mid-roundhouse, boot planted squarely into a startled man who recoils in a spray of shock lines, while a small dog sits primly to one side pretending not to watch. Beneath the figures, bold raised Cyrillic reads "Осторожно! Злая хозяйка" — roughly "Caution! Angry lady of the house." A rounded-corner frame with little corner rivets frames it all, giving the look of a vintage enamel safety notice reworked as a gag. It's a gift-shop winner for anyone with a sharp sense of humour: hang it by the front door, in the kitchen, or on a workshop wall as a tongue-in-cheek "enter at your own risk." Carve notes • Single-sided relief: run a roughing pass, then a ball-nose finish to keep the rounded figures and lettering crisp. • The Cyrillic has fine serifs — use a small stepover and a tapered bit so the letters read cleanly. • Machine it in a warm hardwood, or print in resin/FDM and rub a dark wax or contrasting paint into the recesses so the figures pop against the raised ground. • Add keyhole slots or a hanging hole to the back before you commit to the final pass.
