Description
Give every bit a labelled home. This bench-top holder turns a drawer full of loose drill and router bits into an at-a-glance line-up. Two neat rows of counter-bored sockets run from the tiny 1mm end all the way up to 16mm, each pocket engraved with its size so you grab the right cutter without squinting or test-fitting. The sunken wells hold shanks upright and stop bits rolling off the bench. Designed for makers, woodworkers, machinists and anyone tired of a rattling tin of mystery bits, it sits flat on a workbench or screws to a shelf edge. Because the sizes are carved straight into the body, there are no stickers to peel or smudge over time. Print / cut notes: • Prints flat with zero supports — the sockets face straight up, so orientation is a no-brainer. • PETG or a tough PLA shrugs off workshop knocks and the odd oil splash better than brittle filaments. • Check your slicer's hole clearance and drop the expansion a touch if bits sit too tight, since printed holes tend to come out slightly under. • Prefer timber? The same file carves cleanly on a CNC router from a hardwood offcut, with the engraved numerals tidied up by a fine V-bit.
