Waving Blank Banner Standard

A banner frozen mid-flutter. Forget the celtic-panel label — this model is a waving flag on a slender pole, the cloth caught in a gust with soft rippling folds sweeping from staff to fly. The flag face is left blank, and that's the point: it's a canvas for your own emblem, decal or freehand heraldry. It's a versatile accessory — a rooftop or wall banner for miniature terrain and dioramas, a rallying standard for a regiment base, a scale-model or railway scenic detail, or a desktop display flag waiting for a painted crest. Print notes • Resin gives the crispest, thinnest cloth ripples; FDM works if you print the flag flat and glue it to a separately printed pole. • If printing as one piece, orient the pole vertical and add light supports under the flag's trailing folds. • The thin staff is fragile — consider swapping in a length of steel wire or a bamboo skewer for durability at larger scales. • Scale to taste: shrink for 28mm bases, enlarge for a mantel or shelf ornament. • Prime white, then mask and paint your colours, or apply a waterslide decal over a gloss coat for sharp insignia.
