Domed Hexagon Honeycomb Wall Tile

One hexagon, endless honeycomb — a soft-domed tile that tiles a whole wall into sculpted relief. The panel is a clean six-sided tile with a chamfered flat border and a single smooth dome swelling up out of the centre like a pillow pressed from behind. No pattern, no fuss — just a quiet convex bulge that reads as light and shadow the moment it goes on a wall. The magic is in repetition: cut a dozen or a hundred and butt them edge to edge and the flat borders vanish into a continuous honeycomb of gentle bumps, a modern feature wall with real depth rather than printed texture. It suits a hallway accent, a bedhead backdrop, a reception desk front, or a shop fit-out. CNC notes: • A ballnose bit is the whole game here — it gives the dome its glassy, seamless curve. Rough with a larger bit, finish with a 3mm–6mm ball. • MDF takes it beautifully for painting; try oak or ash if you want the grain to swim across the dome. • The hex geometry tessellates exactly, so cut a template jig and batch them. • Relief is shallow, so material waste is low and cut times are quick. Prime and spray in a single flat colour to let the shadow-play do the talking, or graduate tones across the wall for an ombré effect.
