Description

Two teardrop loops curl together into a single open heart. Rather than a solid shape, this heart is drawn as one continuous ribbon: two mirrored, paisley-like loops that sweep up and outward, then dive back to meet at a crisp point, leaving an open heart-shaped window at the centre. The border carries a soft, rounded bevel, so the whole thing looks like a smooth cord bent into a heart — clean, modern, and airy. It's lovely as a wall heart, a wedding or Valentine's decoration, a trivet, or a hanging ornament above a mantel or in a window. Cut notes • The open centre means it can be through-cut from thin stock — plywood, acrylic, MDF — or carved as a raised relief on a backing board. • For the rounded profile, run a roundover or ball-nose finishing pass along both edges of the ribbon. • Keep the pointed bottom tip supported until the final pass; it's the thinnest, most snap-prone spot. • Sand the bevel smooth, then oil, paint, or lay down a metallic finish to sell the bent-wire look.
