Faceted Diamond Wall Panel

A crisp geometric wall panel where light and shadow do all the decorating. This CNC tile is a seamless field of faceted lozenges: rows of bevelled diamond and hexagon shapes that tilt and overlap like woven scales or folded paper. Each facet is a flat plane meeting its neighbours along sharp ridges and deep valleys, so the surface throws hard, graphic shadows that shift as you move past it or as the daylight changes. The pattern is designed to repeat, edge to edge, in every direction. It is made for architectural decoration at scale: a feature wall, a headboard backdrop, a reception desk front, cabinet door inserts or a fireplace surround. Tile several together and the diamonds march on unbroken across the whole expanse. Because the look is entirely modern and abstract, it drops into contemporary and minimalist interiors without competing with other ornament. Print notes: • Machine on a wide, flat blank; a flat or bull-nose end mill cuts the crisp facets faster than a ball-nose, though a light ball-nose pass softens the ridges if you prefer. • MDF, plywood or foam board all suit it, and MDF paints beautifully for a seamless finish. • Mind the tiling registration: line the pattern up across boards before fixing so the diamonds stay continuous. • For 3D printing a sample tile, lay it flat and print face-up; no supports are needed given the shallow, self-supporting bevels.
