Woven Basketweave Wall Panel

A vertical strip of crisp basketweave, where rounded tiles seem to thread over and under one another. This CNC panel is filled with an interlocking woven texture: pillow-like blocks alternate direction row by row, their domed faces and scooped sides reading exactly like strips of cane or leather plaited into a mat. The repeat is tight and regular, so the whole surface shimmers with a soft, three-dimensional rhythm under angled light. It works as a decorative wall panel, a furniture insert, a cabinet-door centre, a headboard feature or a length of textured cladding. Cut several and butt them together for a full feature wall. It's best cut in MDF or a stable hardwood for a clean, paint-ready weave. Cut notes • A 3D relief toolpath with a ball-nose finishing bit is essential to round each woven cell smoothly. • Keep the finishing stepover fine — the domed faces show tool marks quickly. • The pattern tiles vertically; align copies carefully so the weave runs unbroken between panels. • On an FDM printer, lay it flat and face-up; the shallow, supportless relief prints reliably and sands well before priming.
