Description

Calm, rolling waves frozen in a square of relief. This panel is carved with horizontal bands that swell and thin as they cross the tile, cresting and dipping like slow water or wind-shaped dunes. The surfaces are smooth and softly rounded with no hard edges anywhere, so light glides across them in long gradients rather than sharp shadows, giving a serene, almost tactile calm. The waves meet the panel edges cleanly, letting you stack tiles vertically or side by side into a larger rippling wall. It is a natural fit for a modern feature wall, a bed headboard, a reception desk front, a cupboard fascia or a backlit panel where a soft glow can wash down the crests. On its own it makes a quietly elegant piece of relief; multiplied across a wall it becomes a real architectural surface. Print / cut notes: • Those flowing crests are ideal ball-nose territory, a fine stepover finishing pass gives the glassy-smooth ridges the design depends on. • MDF or a tight foam board carves cleanly and takes paint or plaster beautifully; no grain worries with the sweeping curves. • Because the profile is gentle, you can machine it fairly shallow to save material and time while keeping the wave effect. • For a seamless wall, cut all tiles at one orientation and align the wave rows across the joints so they flow unbroken.
