Description

A square of pure blooming symmetry, carved to catch raking light. This decorative relief panel is built on a four-fold mirror layout: a plump layered rosette sits dead centre, its ringed petals radiating outward like a dahlia, while sweeping acanthus scrolls, curling tendrils and clustered little berry-flowers fill every corner. A slim raised border frames the whole thing, so it reads as a finished tile rather than a fragment. It has that carved-oak, stately-manor feel, equally at home on a cabinet door, a headboard inset, a jewellery-box lid or simply mounted flat as wall art. Because the design is symmetrical top-to-bottom and left-to-right, it's forgiving to scale up or down without the composition ever falling apart. Print / CNC notes • Cut on a CNC router with a roughing pass then a tapered ball-nose for the flowing leaf undercuts; the deep scroll valleys are where the shadow-play lives. • Printing on FDM? Lay it flat on the bed, face up, and skip supports entirely, every overhang here is gentle. • Looks superb in a warm hardwood like oak or walnut, or printed and finished with a bronze rub-through or gilt wax to fake aged metal. • Leave the border standing proud of the field for a clean shadow gap when wall-mounted.
