Description

A labyrinth of raised blocks and looping channels — half circuit board, half modernist relief. The tile is a square field of interlocking rectangular pads sitting at slightly different heights, threaded together by smooth, rounded channels that curve and branch across the surface. The effect is deliberately technical, almost like a blueprint or a printed circuit rendered in stone, with a brutalist, contemporary edge. There is no figurative subject here — it is pure geometry, and it rewards raking light that throws the raised sections into crisp shadow. It works as a feature wall tile, a decorative accent panel, a coaster, or a master for casting and moulding. Because the layout is balanced to the square, several can be run side by side for a larger repeating surface. CNC / print notes • The flowing channels are made for a ball-nose bit; the rounded profiles are the whole character of the piece. • Cut in stepped depth passes to keep the block walls sharp. • For a seamless wall, align tiles edge to edge and mind the border margins. • 3D printing at a low layer height keeps the curved channels smooth; a matte filament reads best under directional light.
