Floral Rosette Acanthus Corner Panel

A full-blown flower blooming at the centre of a swirling square of carved leafwork. This recessed panel frames an ornate rosette: a rounded multi-petal flower with a domed, scaled centre sits dead-middle, and from behind it four matching quadrants of acanthus scroll unfurl into the corners, each ending in a tight curl. Slim leaf-tips and pierced eyelet openings punctuate the field, and the whole design is bilaterally symmetrical inside a plain bevelled border, so it reads as a balanced decorative tile with real depth and shadow. It's ideal as a carved centrepiece — a cabinet-door insert, a furniture panel, a ceiling or wall medallion, or a framed ornamental plaque. The recessed border means it drops neatly into a routed pocket or a made-up frame. Print notes: • Machine or print face-up; the relief is single-sided so the flat back needs no support. • The layered petals and undercut scrolls reward a two-stage CNC job: a roughing pass, then a fine tapered ball nose for the flower centre and the curl tips. • Print at a generous size so the pierced openings and petal overlaps stay clean and legible. • Beautiful in oak or walnut with a dark wax to pop the shadows; in resin it makes a crisp glue-on medallion for painted decor.
