Floral Medallion Corner-Rosette Panel

A framed floral medallion where a full bloom bursts from a ring of leaves. This square decorative panel centres on a layered flower head - row upon row of pointed petals spiralling up to a raised heart, like a lotus or dahlia caught in mid-open. Four broad, ribbed leaf-blades radiate out to the compass points, each fanning into a shell-like tip, with small carved beads and tight scrolls tucked into the diagonals. A crisp circular band rings the whole arrangement, set inside a stepped square border, and each corner carries its own little sunburst rosette block. It is a classic wall or furniture medallion - mount it as a standalone relief tile, a cabinet-door centrepiece, a ceiling rose or a repeated motif along a panelled wall. The deep, sculptural relief throws strong shadows, so it earns its place as a focal point. Print notes • Made for CNC carving in hardwood or dense MDF; the layered petals want a 3D roughing pass followed by a fine ball-nose finish to round each tier. • Watch the depth at the centre of the flower - the stacked petals are the deepest cut, so set your Z clearance and stepdown accordingly. • The square symmetry means it tiles neatly edge-to-edge if you want a larger panelled effect. • Equally printable as a 3D relief: lay it flat, print face-up with no supports, then sand the petal edges before staining or gilding. A dark wax rubbed into the recesses and buffed off the high points makes the bloom leap out of its frame.
