Twelve-Petal Domed Rosette Medallion

A blooming rosette with twelve plump petals and a dome at its heart. This carved medallion is pure symmetry: a ring of twelve rounded, tongue-shaped petals radiating outward, each scooped with a long central groove so it reads like a stylised daisy or chrysanthemum. At the very centre sits a raised hemispherical boss — a smooth button that pulls the whole flower together and casts a soft shadow ring around itself. The relief is generous and rounded, the kind of soft-sculpted ornament that reads clearly from a distance. It's a workhorse decorative element: a ceiling-rose accent, a corner or centre block for door and window casings, a furniture medallion for cabinet doors and bed frames, or a rosette to cap the top of a plinth or newel post.
