Description
A four-petal bloom pressed neatly into a square, with buds tucked in every corner. RS 225 is a tile-format rosette: four broad, veined petals radiate from a stepped central button in a cross, and where they part, ribbed leaf-buds fill the diagonal corners so the whole motif squares off cleanly. Fine incised lines fan across each petal, lending movement under raking light. The relief is medium and softly rounded — decorative but robust. Its square footprint makes it a natural for repeating: run a row along a frieze, cap the corners of a coffered panel, or drop a single tile at a cabinet-door intersection. Cut notes: • The incised petal veins want a fine V-bit or small ball-nose after the main clearing pass; do them last so they stay crisp. • Because it tiles, machine several at once on one board and part them out — that keeps relief height consistent across the run. • Beech, oak or a paint-grade hardwood all suit it; the square edge means easy, gap-free butting against trim. • Keep depth around 10–14 mm so neighbouring tiles read as one continuous band. Just as useful 3D-printed as repeatable appliqués for panelling, dolls'-house trim or restoration.
