Six-Petal Rosette Furniture Appliqué

A six-petal bloom carved in crisp relief, glowing like polished bronze. This is a decorative rosette: six broad, pointed petals radiating from a domed central bead, each petal scooped into a soft concave hollow and split down its length by a single raised spine. The carving stacks deeper and shallower petals in an alternating rhythm, giving the medallion a gentle pinwheel motion, and the whole thing stands proud of its background as a raised applique. Rendered here in a warm metallic tone, it speaks the classic vocabulary of furniture ornament and architectural trim. It's ideal as a CNC-routed onlay for cabinet doors, drawer fronts, headboards, mantels or picture frames — or 3D-printed as an appliqué you glue on, then paint or gild. Print / CNC notes: • CNC: a tapered ball-nose bit gives the smoothest petal hollows; finish with a fine stepover pass for clean veins. • Cuts beautifully in oak, walnut and maple, or in MDF when the piece will be painted. • 3D print flat and face-up at around 0.12mm for sharp spines; no supports needed. • Seal and wax, or gild, so the raised relief catches the light.
