Eight-Point Rosette Wall Tile

A square decorative tile built around a serene eight-point rosette. At its heart sits a rounded flower of eight lobed petals, wrapped by a ring of interlocking looped links that lend the medallion a woven, almost Moorish quality. Each corner of the framed panel carries a small teardrop leaf, while stubby angled brackets reach inward from the border edges toward the centre — a tidy, balanced piece of geometric ornament. The relief is shallow and smooth-shouldered, so light rolls softly across the petals. Use it as a decorative wall tile, a coaster, a cabinet-door inset, a trivet, or a repeating motif across a tiled feature panel; the strong square border means multiples butt together cleanly. Print / cut notes • Print flat, face up — the low, rounded relief needs no supports and reproduces well even on an FDM machine at 0.12 mm layers. • For CNC this is an ideal wood-relief carve: a ball-nose finishing pass gives the petals their soft dome. Oak, walnut or MDF all take it well. • The interlaced ring detail benefits from a small-diameter bit or nozzle so the loops stay crisply separated. • Seal wood versions and add a dark glaze, wiping it back so the recesses read as clean shadow lines.
