Description

A crisp fleur-de-lis rising from a recessed panel inside its own moulded frame. This model is a self-contained plaque: a bold, three-lobed fleur-de-lis sits in high relief on a flat sunken field, bound at the waist by the classic horizontal band, and the whole motif is enclosed by a stepped, bevelled picture-frame border. The central petal is rounded and smoothly domed, the side lobes curl outward with confident hooks, and the framing leaves it ready to hang or mount as-is. It suits heraldic and French-provincial interiors — as a wall plaque, a cabinet-door centre, a newel-cap medallion or a repeated motif along panelling. Scouting, royalist and period-decor fans all gravitate to this emblem. Print notes: • It is a flat-backed relief: lay it flat on the bed or spoilboard motif-up, and no supports are needed. • For CNC, pocket the recessed field first, then finish the fleur-de-lis and the frame bevels with a ball-nose; a V-bit sharpens the inner corners of the frame. • On FDM or resin, 0.1–0.12 mm layers keep the domed lobes and band clean. • Because the frame is integral you can hang it directly — add a keyhole slot to the back in CAD before printing. • A two-tone finish, dark frame with a gilded emblem, really lifts the heraldry. Scale it up as a statement wall piece or down as a drawer-pull backplate; the built-in border keeps it looking finished at any size.
