Description

Four flowing petals of carved motion that lock together into a single wheel. Each of the four pieces is an identical organic flourish — a smooth, tube-like ribbon that loops back on itself around a pointed-oval eye, with a tapering leaf-tip curling off to one side. Arranged as a set they mirror around a central point, their outer edges tracing a full circle while the gaps between them open a clean cross of negative space at the middle. The relief is soft and rounded, almost liquid, with no sharp corners — a modern, sculptural take on the classic corner scroll rather than a fussy traditional one. Use the quartet as corner onlays framing a square panel, mounted together as a round medallion on a cabinet or headboard, or split up as individual accents on drawer fronts. The repeat means one machined pass gives you a matching set. Print / CNC notes • The rounded forms suit a ball-nose bit; a 3D finishing pass brings out the smooth, flowing highlights. • Machining flat needs no support; for resin/FDM, print each piece face-up and the relief comes off the plate cleanly. • Keep a small flat land on the back of every piece for solid glue contact. • Mirror or rotate copies in your CAM to fill all four positions from a single toolpath. Finish in one sweep of paint or gilt so the light rides the curves — this design lives on its highlights and shadows.
