Strongman Wrestling Lion Relief

A muscle-bound hero locked in battle with a maned beast. This deep relief tells its story in one crowded frame: at the top a broad-shouldered figure heaves a leafy branch overhead, his back and arms straining, a canopy of carved foliage bunched behind him. Below, a wide-eyed, lion-maned creature with a thick flowing beard is pinned against a woodgrain plank, one huge hand clamped around its snout. A curved, horseshoe-like band sweeps up the left edge and finishes in a pierced loop, so the whole carving can hang or sit as a charm-shaped plaque. It reads as folklore and strongman spectacle rolled together — equal parts Hercules, Samson and country-fair wrestling poster. Print / CNC notes: • This is high relief with genuine undercuts, so a 3-axis router will leave shadowed pockets under the arms and beard; a 4-axis pass or careful hand-finishing closes them out. • If you resin-print it as a pendant instead, sit the flat back on the plate and support the overhanging branch and the loop. • Leave extra stock around the hanging ring so it survives sanding. • A two-tone finish — dark recesses, buffed highlights — makes the tangle of limbs and mane readable from across a room.
