Skeletonised Thumbhole Rifle Stock

A skeletonised thumbhole long-gun stock. This file models a rifle stock — the shouldered furniture component of a long gun — drawn in a lightweight, modern target style. It has an open thumbhole grip, cut-outs milled through the wrist and cheek to shave weight, a ventilated slotted fore-end, and diamond-honeycomb stipple panels textured into the grip and comb for purchase. The silhouette is long and low, finished with subtle engraved scrollwork bordering the checkered pads. Please note: this is a firearm part and is flagged for review. It is presented as a workshop pattern or display replica. Print notes: • Lay the stock on its side flat to the bed for the strongest layer orientation along its length. • Print in a tough material (PETG, ASA or nylon) if a functional pattern is intended; PLA is fine for a display piece or a casting master. • Support the thumbhole underside and the fore-end slots; keep the checkered panels support-free and facing up. • Sand and fill the wide flanks, then prime and paint, or use as a CNC/casting reference in a hardwood or laminate blank.
