Description

A blade shape dressed in oak leaves, acorns and rolling scrollwork. This relief takes the profile of a broad drop-point knife and turns its flat into a carved canvas. The cutting edge and tip stay clean and polished, but the wide ricasso and spine area near the handle are filled with a dense ornamental panel: curling acanthus scrolls, a scatter of oak leaves and clustered acorns, all raised in crisp relief and framed by a scooped border that follows the blade's lines. Shown in a warm sandy tone, it's a decorative carving rather than a functional cutting tool. It works as a display piece, a carved sign motif, a knife-themed wall plaque, or a relief pattern to drop onto a hardwood blank for a woodland or hunting-lodge feel. The oak-and-acorn theme leans rustic and outdoorsy. Print / CNC notes • Cut in a firm, tight-grained hardwood so the acorn caps and leaf veins hold their edges; a small ball-nose bit for the finishing pass reaches into the scroll pockets. • The polished blade area is a large flat plane — leave it as a smooth clearing pass to contrast with the busy carved panel. • Scales well; keep relief depth moderate on smaller sizes or the fine tendrils lose definition. • If 3D printed, lay it flat with the decorated face up and use only whisper-light supports under the deepest undercut curls.
