Description

Celtic knotwork wrapped around an honest hand-grip. This long, gently S-curved handle carries a running plait of interlaced knotwork down its spine, bookended by two tighter medallions — a woven corner motif at one end and a four-fold circular knot at the other. The body swells and narrows in a soft, ergonomic wave, so it reads as something built to be held: a cane or walking-stick grip, an oversized drawer or door pull, or a decorative tool handle. It's a treat for anyone chasing a Norse, medieval or Celtic-revival look — furniture restorers, stick-makers, prop builders and cosplayers all have a use for a handle this ornate. Mount it horizontally as a pull, or set it atop a shaft as a grip. Print / cut notes: • The knotwork is fine, so resin or a 0.4mm nozzle at a low layer height keeps the interlace legible. • On FDM, print it lying along its length with supports under the underside curve, then clean the seam off the top ridge. • It's a natural CNC job in oak or walnut — rough the profile, then run a small V-bit and ball-nose to pick out the strands. • Sand the plain areas smooth and leave the recesses darker with a wax or stain wash so the knots stand proud.
