Ornate Carved Hunting Knife

A decorative dagger where every surface has been given over to the carver's chisel. This is an ornamental knife modelled purely as a display carving. The grip curves into a comfortable pistol-form pommel, textured with fine cross-hatch and threaded with scrolling foliage. Above the guard, the broad blade is treated like a canvas: a cross-hatched ground surrounds a raised central cartouche framed in acanthus curls, and within it sits a modelled hunting scene of animals amid foliage. A small turned finial finishes the tip. Nothing about it is a working edge — it reads as a mantel piece, a themed wall hanging or a carver's showpiece.
