Description

A walking cane that snarls back. This is a sculpted cane handle crowned by a bear's head, caught mid-roar: rounded ears pinned back, a heavy brow, broad muzzle and an open jaw baring its teeth. Thick, shaggy fur is carved in deep flowing locks that sweep back from the face into a flame-like ruff, then resolve into a smooth, gently curved grip. The rear of the handle finishes in a ribbed, knurled pommel ball, and the underside steps down to a socketed collar sized to seat onto a cane or walking-stick shaft. Perfect for a bespoke walking stick, a cosplay staff, a shooting-stick topper or simply a striking mantel piece. Making notes • Traditional route: carve in a dense hardwood on a 4-axis or rotary CNC so the fur reads crisply on every side. • 3D printing works well too, resin for the fur detail, or tough PETG/PLA+ for a handle you will actually lean on; orient the grip along Z and support under the muzzle and jaw. • Check the bore diameter against your shaft before printing and adjust the collar to fit. • Finish with fine sanding through the fur, then oil or seal the wood, or prime and paint for a bronzed, aged-metal look.
