Winged Skull Fantasy War-Axe

Forget the mandalas — this is a full-blown fantasy war-axe, dripping with menace. The head is a single broad, wickedly curved blade, and rising from its top is a screaming skull crowned with a great spread of feathered wing that fans up and to one side. A faceted gem sits at the throat of the axe where blade meets haft, and below it the shaft is banded with rings and knots before finishing in an ornate, spade-shaped pommel. It's the kind of hero weapon you'd expect out of a raid boss or a collectible-game trophy. The sculpting is dense and high-relief — layered wing feathers, the hollowed eye sockets of the skull, the bevelled blade edge — so it rewards a good finishing pass and a bit of paint. Use it as a wall-mounted relief trophy, a cosplay prop centrepiece, a shelf display for a gamer, or a dramatic topper for a themed build. This is a decorative/ornamental fantasy weapon, not a functional one. Print notes: • Resin is the way to go; the feather layering and skull detail are far too fine for coarse FDM. • Print the axe head and the long haft as separate parts if scaling up, then pin and glue — it prints cleaner and wastes less support. • Expect heavy supports under the outstretched wing and the overhanging blade tip; angle it to keep the front faces support-free. • Prime, then drybrush metallics over the blade and a bone wash over the skull for instant grimdark drama.
