Description

A grip that ends in a growling bear. One end is a finely sculpted bear's head — muzzle parted, brow furrowed, ears back — that flows into a long, ergonomic handle wrapped in a tight diamond-knurl panel and finishes in a faceted, hammer-like cap. The knurled section gives real thumb-and-finger purchase, while the sweeping underside stays smooth for the palm. It's the sort of characterful handle that upgrades a walking cane, a fireside poker or fire-steel, a chunky bottle opener, a cabinet or door pull, or a display mallet — anywhere a plain grip could use some wildlife. Shown here in a bronze render, it carves just as happily in hardwood or casts from a resin print. Print / CNC notes • Lay it on its side to print or cut; on FDM add supports under the bear's jaw and the overhanging end cap. • Resin captures the fur and knurl crispest; for CNC, rough the form with a 2–3mm ballnose, then detail the fur and diamond texture with a finer bit. • Orient the knurl uppermost for a clean finishing pass, then sand the smooth underside for a comfortable hold. • Scale the bore or tang to suit whatever shaft or rod you're fitting it to.
