Description

A brooding fantasy blade with a snarling beast for a crossguard and a bladed pommel that looks ready to draw blood at both ends. The sword tapers to a long, leaf-shaped double-edged blade with a deep central fuller flanked by raised ribs, giving it a layered, forged look. Where blade meets hilt, a jagged winged guard flares out around a demonic face — curling horns, hollow eyes and a fanged maw carved into the metalwork. Below that, a rope-twisted grip spirals down to a spiked, cross-shaped pommel. It's pure heroic-fantasy weaponry, the sort of signature blade a game boss or dark knight would carry. This one is aimed at display and cosplay rather than the workshop: a wall-mounted showpiece, a shelf collectible beside your figures, or a lightweight costume prop. It also scales down neatly into a themed letter opener or a chunky tabletop artefact. Print notes • Print the blade vertically for the straightest edge and cleanest fuller; expect to slice it into blade and hilt sections for a larger prop and pin the joint. • The demon guard is the detail hero — resin gives the crispest horns and teeth, though FDM handles it well at larger scale. • Use tree supports under the winged guard's overhangs and the pommel spikes; keep them off the flat blade faces. • For a wearable prop, hollow the blade or print in PLA/PETG to keep weight down, then sand, prime and paint with metallic base coats and a dark wash into the recesses.
