Description

A clean, no-nonsense knightly longsword ready for the wall or the cosplay belt. The blade is a long, gently tapering double-edged form with a subtle central ridge, meeting a plain cruciform crossguard whose arms flare a touch at the tips. Below sits a spiral-wrapped grip and a faceted diamond pommel — the archetypal medieval arming sword, more honest steel than fantasy filigree. It suits reenactors, LARP and cosplay builds, tabletop display stands, or a scaled-down decorative carving for a study wall. Print notes • The blade is long: split it at the guard, or print diagonally across the bed, then rejoin over a steel or carbon rod for a straight, sturdy result. • Lay the blade flat and print grip and guard separately so layer lines run along the length rather than across the weak axis. • Prime and wet-sand the blade before a chrome or brushed-steel paint; leather-brown the grip and let a dark wash sink into the wrap. • For a CNC take, carve a low-relief version of the profile as an oak or walnut plaque.
